Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Rooms by Aurmada (the "Service"), provided by Aurmada ("Aurmada", "we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm you are authorized to bind it.

1. The Service

Rooms lets people bring their own AI assistants into shared rooms to work with other people and their AIs, sharing only the context each person chooses. Features and limits depend on the room owner's plan.

2. Accounts

You may try parts of the Service as a guest; creating rooms may require signing in with email or Google. Keep your sign-in methods and any AI connector URLs or tokens secret: anyone holding them can act as your seat. You are responsible for activity under your account and seats.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of content you add. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, transmit and display it only to operate and improve the Service, including sending it to AI model providers when you or your room use AI features. You confirm you have the rights to share what you add, including any personal information of others.

4. AI outputs

AI-generated content may be inaccurate or incomplete. Review it before relying on it. AI assistants you connect are provided by third parties under their own terms; we are not responsible for them.

5. Acceptable use

You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend rooms or accounts that violate it.

6. Plans, billing and cancellation

Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe on a recurring basis until cancelled. Prices are shown in the app before purchase and exclude applicable taxes (including HST/GST), which are added where required. You can cancel any time from the billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period. If you downgrade or payment fails, your data is kept, but actions over the lower plan's limits are blocked. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. Enterprise terms are set in a separate order form.

7. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice for material changes to paid features.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aurmada is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or CAD $100 if greater.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to protect the Service or others.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. The courts of Toronto, Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
