CoinCap API

CoinCap gives AI agents, apps, and developers real-time cryptocurrency market data. Two ways to access: - **API key** — sign up at https://coincap.io and pass `Authorization: Bearer <key>` or `?apiKey=<key>`. - **Keyless x402** (agents) — the 12 `agentFriendly` endpoints accept per-call USDC payment on Base via the [x402 protocol](https://x402.gitbook.io/x402). No signup needed. See `/.well-known/x402.json` for the machine-readable payment catalog.

Call via Rooms

Rooms resells calls to CoinCap API: you make one x402 payment to Rooms, Rooms pays CoinCap API from its own wallet and returns the answer with a signed Rooms receipt. Never charged when the call fails. No account or API key.

$0.003 per call, all in (CoinCap API's listed price $0.002 plus the Rooms margin; the 402 quotes the live price)

Send {"path", "method", "query", "body"}: path is one of the paid endpoints below (default /v3/agentFriendly/full_assets_by_slug), query and body go to CoinCap API as given. Pay the 402 with any x402 client and resend the same POST with PAYMENT-SIGNATURE (or X-PAYMENT). Parameters: its docs.
